Terms of Use (EULA)
Welcome to Compress Video. By downloading, accessing, or using the Compress Video mobile application for iOS and iPadOS, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
1. License Grant
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Compress Video application on any Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
2. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Compress Video offers optional Pro upgrade options via Apple StoreKit 2:
- Weekly Subscription: Billed weekly with automatic renewal.
- Annual Subscription: Billed annually with automatic renewal.
- Lifetime Access: A one-time non-consumable purchase granting permanent access to all Pro features without recurring billing.
3. Payment & Auto-Renewal Terms
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is disabled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
- You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time by going to your Apple Account Settings → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad.
4. Permitted Use & Intellectual Property
You may use Compress Video strictly for personal or business video compression purposes. You agree not to:
- Decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the application.
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the application.
- Use the application for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive for optimum compression efficiency and visual clarity, we do not guarantee that the application will meet all specific compression ratio requirements for every non-standard video file format.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer of Compress Video be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the application.
7. Apple Standard EULA Reference
These terms supplement and incorporate the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement. In case of any conflict, the terms of the Apple Standard EULA available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ shall take precedence.
